Close your Eyes. Clear your Heart. Let it Go.

Have you ever just been stuck in a rut that you can't get out of and you're just unhappy, and lonely and whatever else? And then to make it worse you just keep dwelling on the past, which is probably the worst thing you can do because you can look back all you want, you can stare for hours but no matter how long you do stare its never going to change... its the past and it certainly has passed. We all have things in our lives that we wish we could change or take back but there's no point in focusing on the "Should of, could of, or would of's". You have to focus on the here and now so that you can plan for your future. Stop looking back, whether its a past relationship or maybe you even hurt someone close to you due to selfishness or some other reason... Make your apologies and move on with your life. Just let it all go, move on, you're never going to be happy if you don't.

Happiness is a way of travel, not a destination. (Me ranting about nothing.)

So some people may take me as arrogant or cocky or they may even think that I think of myself as a "Bad ass" but despite popular belief, I could care less what people think of me, besides I'm not under any of these categories specifically, I'm just Carly Anne Donahue... I don't find myself to be better than anyone else in any way shape or form, I'm just me... Just some girl who like most is too hard herself and maybe not hard enough on the ones I care the most about. I'm not the prettiest nor the skinniest or smartest girl out there but I'm me and that's what is really important. Every one is always trying to strive to be the best and be better than everyone else when in reality no one is better than anyone else, There is no such thing as "The prettiest" "The most Handsome" "The Smartest" "The Strongest" or any of the millions of other categories you can imagine, because everyone is pretty or handsome in their own way and that doesn't mean that they're uglier than anyone else, it just means that they are individually unique.God didn't make anyone prettier, stronger or smarter than anyone else, we are all individuals. Still there will always be those people who think that they are better than everyone else for what ever reason, and you'll never be able to change their minds but what you can do is understand how incredible you are as a person and how beautiful you are inside and out, and let them shine in their own light. 

5) Life is a roller coaster.

Life, is quite the roller coaster one second you could nicely be going up hill seeing the bright beautiful sky but then suddenly before you know it your headed straight down to the ground and your terrified of what could happen next, you could safely end up at the end or you could crash and burn, but that is never really your decision... its gods and he will no matter what ultimately make the right decision for you. Sometimes god gives you life situations that may seem incredibly impossible but you have to remember that he never gives you more than you can handle because hes knows exactly how much that is. Every day is an adventure and a gift, any day could be your last and you wouldn't even know it so its so important that you really make the right decisions based on whats right and what god would want you to do.

4)This is for one of my best friends in the entire world.

I know that sometimes life can seem impossible and unfair, but its nothing that you can't handle. I know that there might always be that gap where something is missing in your life, but you have to be strong enough to realize that you can make it through because you really are so strong. I haven't lived your life or been through what you have dealt with, but I know what an amazing person you are and I cannot bare to see you get hurt anymore because its not fair to you. Keep that chin up and keep that smile across your face because you deserve to be happy.

3) Make lemonade.

Life throws an awful lot of obstacles at us all throughout the day and sometimes that distracts us from some of the most beautiful things in this world, its important everyday to remember all the small things that make life wonderful. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade and share it with the world. Though the world is full of evil and distress, there's always a beautiful blooming flower to keep a grin on your face and warmth in your heart.

2) Be your own sunshine

Happiness is a choice. I am so very sick of hearing everyone say that they "Can't" be happy or smile or anything like that. But honestly its not that you can't, it's that you won't. Stop blaming everything else in the world for your unhappiness, because if you really wanted yourself to be happy you would be. Its no ones decision but yours. Oh yeah, and whether you think so or  not, you do not need a relationship to be happy. Having a boyfriend or a girlfriend isn't everything. And seriously stop saying that you can't smile, yes you can smile but maybe at that moment you can't feel the happiness behind it. But as I've said, that is your choice. Take the blame for your unhappiness and fix it already!!!!! Complaining about it isn't going to make it better!

1) A little help from my friends.

People will come and go your entire life, but throughout that life there will be those few that happen to stick around and those, and only those are your true friends. Everyone is always so worried about impressing everyone else and trying so hard to fit in. Well I hate to tell you anything but after awhile of trying so hard, you will lose who you truly are and you'll be stuck in a rut that you'll have to get yourself out of, and those people that you worked so hard to impress will most definitely not be there. But those few that always knew the real you, even when you lost yourself will be there to give you a hand.
